Absolutely! Many of my clients come in feeling uncertain. I meet you where you are, and we don’t need all the right words or clear goals to get started.

I strive to schedule the first intake session within 1-2 weeks, but we go at your pace!

A good fit means we feel respected, understood, and comfortable in the therapy space together. You feel heard, respected, and safe to share without pressure.

If you feel we aren’t a good fit, that’s okay! I can help you find another therapist. No hard feelings!

Logistics

I meet with clients throughout the state of Colorado using a secure telehealth platform.

About the Therapy Process

Real, intentional, regular conversations with a trained clinician. Your space to explore without performing, meeting expectations, or feeling judged.

If you’re using your insurance plan, a diagnosis provides “medical necessity.” But plenty of clients come in just because something feels off, and that’s enough!

I spend time getting to know you and give you the opportunity to ask any questions about myself and the process. You share what’s going on, your background, and what you’ve already tried. Together, we map out what future work might look like.

Nope! Share at a pace that feels comfortable to you. Start with whatever you feel is most important.

Start with whatever you feel is most important. If you aren’t sure, I can help guide the conversation.

Every client is different, and it often depends on your concerns, goals, and the modalities we use in sessions.

Usually, I start out with once a week. I find that this frequency helps build our therapeutic relationship and feel comfortable in the therapy space. The schedule can vary based on your needs and availability.

Progress looks different for everyone, but typical signs I see include improvement in managing emotions, better relationships, healthier coping strategies, self-understanding, and self-love, along with achieving goals.

Sometimes, clients will do exercises or new skills throughout the week after we discuss them in session. You might get resources or handouts to explore in between sessions. Others prefer to work primarily within the sessions themselves. Everyone has different ways of learning and processing, and I’ll meet you where you are.
